So says the Bill Gibbons campaign, who is the last of the four GOP gubernatorial campaigns to release their fundraising results. He’s raised just $415,000 this year, while Ron Ramsey raised $1.3 million dollars in just two weeks. Bill Haslam raised $3.8m as of June 30 and Zach Wamp has raised $1.2m.

It isn’t about the money - recent races elsewhere (VA ring a bell?) make that point…. but it takes some money to run a campaign… and it doesn’t look like Mr. Gibbons is going to have it.
