TANNER TO VOTE NO!

Fri. Jun. 26, 11:31am EST

I just got through to Congressman Tanner’s DC office after trying for two hours. In answer to my query about Congressman Tanner’s intentions on the Cap & Trade vote, I was told “he currently plans to vote no”.

Don’t like the qualifier “currently” - but I do like the rest of it.

Great news! I called and didn't get as clear an answer.. but begged him to vote no, if this passes my company will be out of business within a year (customer is already moving some stuff to China) and will in the process put 3 families out of work, including a Navy and Army veteran.

Sadly, that will be the story of way too many businesses and families if this passes. It will wreck our economy.

Well the vote was 219-212 of course the House voted for it barely. But Tanner did vote NO...you can see the voting record here:

I'm not a Tanner fan, but kudos for him for not taking one of Pelosi's bribes and selling out our future on this one.
