Affordable Health Choices Act - Eating an Elephant

It's time to step up to the plate and do something that none of our elected representatives will do... read the bill.

The blasted thing is 1018 excruciatingly obtuse pages long.  To fight it, we have to know what it is.  I'm going to actually read this thing and post what I find.

If you are interested in taking a stab at the beast, it can be viewed in its entirety here.

You might end up being the only person in the country who does read it.

It is ridiculous to be pushing such a bill through Congress so fast. Naturally they don't want time for people to read it........it's that bad.

Here's a chart of the House-Democrats-Health Plan.

Investors Business Daily has already found an "uh-oh" moment. We don't really get to keep our private insurance plan like Barry said we would...

I'm teaming up with others on redstate.com to divide this thing up into pieces.

That's right.....your choices come from plans your gov't chooses and you get to pick one. Why do you think they're rushing this thing thru? Because they don't want us to really see how bad it is. Click here to get an example of how it is in Canada with socialized medicine.

Personally I think that unless every member of Congress actually reads the bill entirely they should not be allowed to vote on it. But of course that is why they rush through them like Mike said...they do not want people to be able to know exactly how bad it is.

we have health care welfare and medicare it is costly welfare broke us and the liberals have not learned that socialized medicine does not work...ask Canada , the brits, . We need to work with the big insurance companies and have plans on a slidding scale.......... it can be done i think this plan is not good for seniors.
