My political views in a nutshell: Drastic reduction in the power and authority of the federal government. Those powers would be returned to "the states ... or to the people".

What I believe...

*The constitution is a contract by the people to limit the powers of the federal government. There are clearly defined processes for changing the constitution. Whim of judges is not one of them.

*The second amendment prohibits the federal government from restricting the rights of individuals to own firearms. Federal laws that do so should be scrapped and the ATF should be disbanded.

*The constitution prohibits the federal government from establishing a religion and from restricting free practice of religion. There is nothing there about "seperation of church and state". Look for yourself.

*Life begins at conception. Any other definition requires some degree of self-deception OR disregard for the life of the unborn. The latter is just plain evil.

*Immigration should be strictly controlled. Repeal the 14th amendment - the whole thing is an anachronism and was passed under duress.

*We never should have intervened in Iraq the first time.

*We'd be a lot better off if we withdrew from the UN and all other alliances.
