I stumbled on this guy a while back, his videos are fun to watch.

  • Obama's Haliburton -- Petrobras

    Wed. Aug. 19, 06:59pm EST

The Obama government is loaning $10,000,000,000 to Petrobras for offshore drilling, that right, the Big Ois funding abroad what he won't allow at home. What makes this even more outlandish is a George Soros hedge fund bought into Petrobras for a sizeable percentage of ownership (I wonder what the timing of these events were).

Not much information out there on this at the moment, I guess the healthcare "debate" keeps this one from gaze of "investigative reporting". I bet if this was Bush there would be bumper stickers and a "citizen group" with full page ads in the Times about already.

  • Camille Paglia - Obama's healthcare horror

    Wed. Aug. 12, 12:22am EST

Another fine piece from Camille Paglia, while I fail to see her continued support of Obama she is actually one Democrat that I have found on the interwebs that makes any reasonable rational (and critical) attempt at analysis of Obama.

    Some tidbits from her Op-Ed:

But who would have thought that the sober, deliberative Barack Obama would have nothing to propose but vague and slippery promises -- or that he would so easily cede the leadership clout of the executive branch to a chaotic, rapacious, solipsistic Congress? House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom I used to admire for her smooth aplomb under pressure, has clearly gone off the deep end with her bizarre rants about legitimate town-hall protests by American citizens. She is doing grievous damage to the party and should immediately step down.

.... On this, my first post here (in September 08) on P4A I stated :

"He [Obama] is a newcomer to D.C. he has not “paid his dues” and the old Democratic guard demand he pay them. If this is what you want, again there is no hope for you. After two years of this those of us in the middle will get sick of the politics as usual and hand him a Republican congress. Instant partisan gridlock and the cycle will repeat itself – as it has since the inception of political parties."

I have since re-valuated my center stance since that post, I have veered right far more right than I was then. My how things "change".

There is a lot more in Ms Paglia's article worth reading. Like her agreeing with Palin (again) on the "death panel" term. Again this is on Salon.com -- not exactly a right-wing nirvana.

I for one am glad to see that some of her sound advice is falling on deaf ears at the WhiteHouse.

  • How Many Examples?

    Thu. Jul. 16, 11:29pm EST

Ok how many examples do we need?

Liberal democrat methods do not work, Chicago is awash in blood, Detroit  (Wayne County) is probably going to stop prosecuting "minor" crimes like B&E, California bonds are a step above junk bonds, Michigan unemployment could hit 20% (already at a nasty 14.1%), and Wasington DC has 3% HIV/AIDS rate.

Now we have this management on a national scale. Nice.

With all the evidence on a local and state level scale of what codling (sometime even celebrating) immorality, being soft on crime, spending like there is no tomorrow how did we get this in on the national scale?

Ignorance? Greed? Covetousness? I am at a loss. But for what it is worth the polls show that America is tiring of the game, the American people seem to have looked at the man behind the curtain and realized he is not a wizard.

I knew (and I said it here before) that if Obama and the dems persue a balls-to -the-wall liberal agenda they would lose popular support.

What do you all think P4A?
