In early 2008, a number of people who are conservatives, old fashioned liberals and traditionalists from all walks of life, across generations and from far flung areas of the country came together via the Internet for the common purpose of forming a new party. This was out of a common distaste for what the existing two major parties represent. We come from many existing political labels, and yet none of them, because we feel that no party adequately represents the principles important to our nation's founding.

  • Toggle Constitution: Federalism and Subsidiarity

    Be believe that the Constitution strictly limits the Federal Government and that Individuals and the States reserve the rights and powers not granted to the Federal Government to manage their families and communities as they see fit.

  • Toggle Economic policy: Opportunity and Capitalism

    We believe that Capitalism has been the most equalizing economic force in the history of the human race.  We believe that regulation where it is necessary should be to keep barriers of entry low and competition high.  We believe that social programs funded by Government create Government jobs and dependence on Government and not much more.

  • Toggle Humanities: Personal Responsibility

    Human society does not equal Government.  Government is a tool of maintaining security and law, preserving civil liberties and resolving disputes.  It is not the arbiter of compassion, charity, community, or love for our fellow man.  Individuals must be responsible for the well-being of their own families, and where our citizens feel responsibility for the needy in their communities or elsewhere, it MUST be voluntary, or else the responsibility has been taken away.  Confiscatory tax policies masquerading as charity is just that:  a masquerade.
